Baseball Season Just Got Longer

Major League Baseball released the 2009 schedule and it looks like we'll have baseball into the start of November. Like the season wasn't already too fucking long. Partially due to the World Baseball Classic and partially due to fulfilling TV obligations most of the openers don't take place until the first week of April.

I like baseball but I can't take that shit from March to November. That's 8 months and covers all or most of the seasons. Luckily, I stop caring about baseball as soon as the NFL starts so I'll be just fine. (Thanks for your concern.) There are only a few things that can play out regardless of the season and they all involve watching people hurt themselves, preferably skateboarders/bicyclists.
